Aim
Help us to bring these families to safety. This fund is to raise money to pay for the flights from Europe to the UK
We are a group of volunteers who are sponsoring 4 Ukrainian families between us in the heart of Somerset. The families we are sponsoring need to pay for flights to get to the UK. They have nothing. They left everything behind. We have worked hard to get everything they need for when they arrive but now the flights need to be paid for and these families are left relying on the kindness of strangers to help us raise the money. Wizz air do not offer free flights to the UK. They charge 29.99pp and that is only from and to certain airports -and only if the seats are available as there are only limited numbers. Even at 29.99 pp that is still more than these families can afford. We know that energy prices have increased, we are all feeling the pinch. If you can contribute anything to help us bring these families here to safety it really would make a world of difference. These are women and children that are currently in temporary accommodation in Europe that need your help. Homes are waiting for them here in Somerset, we just need to get them here. Thankyou
