Michelle Donelan MP's Prize Draw for Ukraine

Aim

Raising money for Ukrainian refugees through the incredible DEC humanitarian appeal.

As a community, we have shown incredible spirit in support of the people of Ukraine, from donating essential supplies to offering up homes to supporting the UK's ongoing leadership in the international effort. My heart goes out to those fleeing this dreadful conflict and I think we must do everything we can to help. That is why I am launching this big fundraiser to raise as much money as possible for the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian appeal, in partnership with Melksham Independent News. The DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal is providing vital help to families fleeing the conflict and you can find out more about their work here. 

Needless to say, all the money will be going straight to the appeal and the below local businesses and organisations have been incredibly generous in donating a fantastic range prizes you can win. From football tickets to champagne afternoon tea to a host of LG electronic products worth hundreds of pounds, we have so many amazing prizes to win. It costs £5 to enter, and if you donate £10, you get two entries, £15 for three entries, £20 four entries etc. You can also enter the competition for free by post. Terms and Conditions

• Each £5 donation will act as one entry into the prize draw. You can enter as many times as you like, meaning a £10 donation will count as two entries, £15 as three and £20 as four etc.
• IMPORTANT: When you are asked to confirm whether you'd like to Gift Aid your donation, please answer NO. Gift Aid should not be claimed on donations made in return for tickets. Therefore, if you declare that YES Gift Aid may be claimed, you will NOT be entered into the draw, and it will be treated as a donation.
• The prize draw will close at 23:59 on Monday 30th May, and the winner will be randomly selected through a draw performed by a computer process on 03/06/22.
• We will then announce the winners and inform them within 28 days of the closing date and they will need to respond within 28 days or a new winner will be chosen at random. They will be contacted by email on how to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond within 28 days of the initial email being sent, the next winner will be chosen at random and emailed within 1 week.
• The prize draw is open to all aged 18 years or over and only residents of Great Britain.
• IMPORTANT: Please make sure to submit your name and email address with the donation, allowing us to contact you if win a prize. Otherwise the entry will NOT be entered into the draw, and it will be treated as a donation.
