Aim
Drive Aid to Ukraine is delivering UK aid to areas others find it challenging to operate/ access.
Ukraine Winter Mission
- 13 million Ukrainians (30% of the population) are displaced and the number is growing. Many have lost everything, including loved ones.
- They face a harsh -20c winter. One of cold, hunger, darkness, thirst and continuing war.
- Driving Aid to Ukraine’s Jan 2023 aid delivery arrived in Ukraine border on the 01/02/23
- Please donate what you can towards fuel and help get aid moving.
Each trip carries in summary-
- Essential items for babies/toddlers/children.
- Requested adult winter clothes.
- Requested winter sleeping bags
- Requested food items.
- Requested hygiene items
- Requested medical kit/equipment.
- Requested batteries/torches/heaters /power packs/chainsaws/generators
Driving Aid to Ukraine has successfully delivered aid into the hard-to-access areas since March.
Raising funds to alleviate human suffering and save lives is a priority.
The challenges are
- the scale and urgency of the need.
- the complexity of the mix of new crisis interventions / helping displaced people recover & restart their lives
- prepping for the harsh winter.
- organisations are struggling to get donated U.K. aid directly to Ukraine's conflict zones/refugee centres.
- raising funds for transportation that is flexible and responsive to Ukrainian requests.
We work with trusted NGO partners in the UK, Poland and Ukraine to transport aid where it is needed.
Kharkiv, Sieverodonetsk, Chernihiv, Bakhmut and other civilian centres destroyed in the Russian invasion are some areas to receive aid transported by Driving Aid to Ukraine. (See picture summary below)
All our time is free. We are a non-profit organisation. Your donation will directly cover transport costs.

8th Feb The last of donations delivered to the border on the 1st Feb going into Ukraine mixed with Folkowisko donations. All our donations delivered on the 1st Feb are now inside Ukraine.
