UKNAT Charity Hike 2026 Fundraiser

Aim

Our aim is for every participant to try to raise money to support medical students in Gaza, the future generation of doctors!

Currently, hundreds of medical students in Gaza are currently at risk of suspension due to unpaid tuition fees, and supporting a medical student in Gaza means supporting knowledge that may save lives for decades to come.

We at the UK North African trust plan to raise money for the Samir Foundation, an amazing organisation which sponsors students to continue their medical education in universities including: Islamic University of Gaza, Al-Azhar University Gaza , Al-Israa University Gaza. We are also collaborating directly with a Palestinian medical students, who we intent to support by fundraising to assist them in their tuition fees.

Alhamdoulillah! Many volunteers are participating in our 2026 charity hike to raise money for this cause. We will be walking eight miles in the Box Hill hiking trail in order to fundraise for our brothers and sisters in Gaza.

However, this would not be possible without your support! 

Please donate to support this cause (even if it is £1), and share to others to help provide financial aid to more students. Every student we assist means countless lives saved, and "Whoever saves a life, it will be as if they saved all of humanity" [Surah Al-Ma'idah]
