Pay It Forward: Your donation helps us provide £1 tickets to refugees, asylum seekers and adults in receipt of benefits.

Tyneside Cinema is a registered charity. Each year, we offer thousands of £1 tickets for refugees, asylum seekers and for adults in receipt of benefits.

At our core is the belief that film is for everyone. We believe it can transform lives, it can change perceptions and it can bring people together.

Tynesiders, we need your help!

We need your donations to ensure that we can continue to provide that access to film to people in our community like Mandy and everyone who needs it, no matter their life circumstances. 

We are asking you to make a donation today so that the thousands of people who might otherwise be left out can continue to be a part of our community of film lovers and benefit from the power of film.

Every donation to Pay it Forward makes a big difference. We know how vital programmes like this are because our patrons tell us. They tell us the simple act of visiting Tyneside Cinema makes a real difference in their lives and it makes their days brighter. 

But we can't do it without you.

It costs the cinema around £12,000 each year to provide these subsidised tickets, and free tickets for carers. Donations  will go towards the running of a range of these programmes across our cinema, including providing £1 tickets for refugees, asylum seekers and those of us who receive benefits and providing free tickets for the carers.
