Aim
Our aim is to raise £6000 to move into our new home. We have to leave our current premises and need a new location to train our boxers.
TYNESIDE BOXING CLUB
Hello all,
Tyneside boxing club has recently been made homeless after the pandemic of COVID 19 with the landlord and ourselves agreeing both sides have grown and there isn't enough space for us both resulting in us having to find a new home. Our landlord has been fantastic and is still supporting us while we get in our new home, but now it's time for a new venture.
The good news is we have found a new location that will be brilliant for all of our members.
The bad news is the building needs repairs to make it suitable before we move into the premises as well as paying all the legal fees and deposit to get into the building.
We have already raised £2500 towards our cause and are looking for an additional £6000 to cover the rest of the costs and we can get back to what we all love.
OUR MEMBERS
We have members from 7 year old children to adults in their 50's. We have competitive boxers amateur and professional as well as those that come to the gym just to keep fit. All of our members play an integral part of our club and we like to pride ourselves that we build a family and community rapport with everyone we work with.
In our current ranks of boxers we have a former GB Boxer who is now a professional boxer. We have national champions and boxers that have been on the England Pathway and represented their country in competition as well as those just starting their amateur journeys.
OUR TEAM
Our coaches are all unpaid volunteers with lots of experience. We have coaches that are part of the National Team. Coaches that were outstanding amateurs themselves and new up and coming coaches just starting their journeys. Regardless of the experience each coach gives each member 100% to every session.
With your help we can pay the costs that are needed to move into the building and provide for our members and the community once again.
Anything raised over our target will go on new equipment for the club to make it an even better place to train and visit.
OUR NEW PREMISES
The pictures below are of our new premises. The building needs a lot of work completed but with your help we can get in to our new home and continue to box and offer classes to our members.
