The Prize
How would you like a free two course meal + a glass of fizz for two at Blackfriars Restaurant and two complimentary house seats at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House for Richard E Grant's new tour on Thursday 25th May 2023?
Meal seating time is 5.30pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Blackfriars is only a few minutes walk from the theatre.

The Cause
TYNE THEATRE & OPERA HOUSE
The Grade 1 listed Tyne Theatre & Opera House is owned and maintained by the Tyne Theatre & Opera House Preservation Trust (charity number 1120746). The business is operated by the Trust's subsidiary company, and all profits from running the theatre are put back into the preservation of the building.
As a completely independent not-for-profit organisation, we rely on donations and the support of our audiences. Your contribution goes into the preservation of the theatre and vital maintenance of the historic building, and our community engagement projects.
BLACKFRIARS
With its origins dating back to 1239, Blackfriars confidently lays claim to being the oldest dining room in the UK! Blackfriars have won many awards including Taste of the North East and is now one of the most recognised and reputable restaurants in Newcastle. Blackfriars serve a gutsy traditional-British menu using local seasonal ingredients, often straight from the local farms and markets.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. People who enter the draw must be over 18 years of age and residents of Great Britain.
2. To enter the draw, you can enter via Crowdfunder to make a £3 contribution for one entry, £6 for two entries or £9 for three entries. One person can have a maximum of three entries. Any additional entries by the same person will not be entered.
There are also two free ways to enter the draw:
a. Email [email protected] to enter the draw without making a contribution. Please include your contact details. Maximum of three entries per person (please tell us how many entries you wish to make). We must have your email entry by the last day of the draw. Please title your email as "Ticket draw entry".
b. Postal entry. If you choose to enter by post, make sure your entry reaches us by the last day of the draw. The address for postal entry is Tyne Theatre & Opera House, 109-113 Westgate Road, NE1 4AG, Newcastle upon Tyne. Please label the entry as "Admin office/Ticket draw entry". The entry must include your contact details. Maximum of three entries per person (please tell us how many entries you wish to make). We cannot accept entries that arrive late and we recommend entering the draw via Crowdfunder website or by email only.

4. Start date: 24th February 2023. End date: 19th March 2023.
5. Prize details: A two course meal at Blackfriars Restaurant for two people, and two tickets to an Evening with Richard E Grant at the Tyne Theatre & Opera House. Seats are in Stalls row J 21 and 22. Please be aware these seats are not suitable for wheelchair users.
6. Winner will be drawn at random on week commencing Monday 20th March. All who entered the draw will be contacted by Friday 24th March 2023.
7. Prize tickets can be collected from the theatre's Box Office on the night of the show. Restaurant arrangements will be communicated with the winner.
