Aim
We are two guys who want to take over the steets of London with our unique BBQ. We are raising funds to pay for a new food stall.
The Story
We are two best friends, Luke and Olly, who share the common love of good BBQ food. We aren't talking the run of the mill burgers or sausages that us Brits are used to on the summer BBQs in the back garden. We are talking about proper low and slow smoked meats over wood that fall off the bone, just like you will find in the best places in the USA. Think pork belly, beef brisket, ribs and all things like that and you will be in the realm of Two Smoking Barrels BBQ. We have always dreamed about being our own bosses and to share our love of the "Q" with the people of London.
During the Corona lock down and while we were twiddling our thumbs confined to our house we started talking, "why don't we finally do this?". I mean what better time to start a brand new business from scratch than during a Pandemic that has the world locked inside. Some people would say we are mad, we call it adventurous!
The Plan
We have pulled in favours from friends in the business and secured ourselves some lovely kitchen space to use as our prep and storage and now its time to stoke up the coals and get that meat on the grates.
We are planning on a two phase plan.
Phase 1: To develop the brand by doing local delivery and collection services from our kitchen while the street food markets and festivals are still not up and running properly.
Phase 2: Once our brand has gotten a name for itself we will tackle the streets as well. This will be us doing markets, food halls and of course festivals.
The thing we are missing is a stall capable of handling the demand of the food we will be serving at events as they start opening again.
We would be using the funds raised to purchase a bespoke food stall with all the branding, lights, bells and whistles. As well as purchasing some merchandise for us to sell online and when we are out on the streets to all our soon to be adoring fans!
