Keep Twickenham 60s Day alive! Music, Mods, scooters, dancing, fashion, makers market & the spirit of Eel Pie Island ✌️

The street was packed with music flowing, 60s fashion and businesses buzzing. A proper community moment.
This year, the decade is spread across multiple stages and spaces, each with its own flavour of 60s music, dance, activities and live entertainment reaching across:
The stages this year will be:
Where the big sound lives - alongside food and drink from local businesses. A full live line-up to keep the street moving all day:

A platform for the next generation. Youth bands, live sessions, and a glimpse of future legends.
Pure energy. DJ Vernon Da Reel VIP will be bringing you the full 60s spirit with a mix of classic genres to keep you moving.
Set by the river at The Barmy Arms, this stage brigs a laid back vibe with folk and blues performances.

Your 60s DJ, The Milkman, along with DJ Aplus, will be spinning all your favourite 60s dance tunes on the greenspace by the river between Bell Lane and Water Lane.
Expect feel-good vibes, vegetarian food stalls, and a bar - the perfect spot to dance, relax and soak up thee riverside atmosphere.
This area is brought to you by local "mum influencer" and event producer, Bella of @Twickenmums, bringing a family-friendly energy and creativity to the heart of the event.
Talks, readings and bongos. Hidden somewhere within Twickenham 60s Day lies a secret chapel… A dimly lit hideaway filled with jazz, words, candles.
Just whispers, wandering minds and the sound of jazz drifting through the street.
Will you find it?

This isn't just dress-up and nostalgia.
This is Twickenham's story. From Eel Pie Island to Church Street. Keeping alive the spirit of a place where music, people and ideas came together and make something bigger than itself.
At its heart, this event is about community. Local people, local businesses, volunteers, and organisers, working together to create something special for everyone.

This is a free, community-led event, and it only happens with your support.
If you love what this day stands for, please consider:
Every contribution helps bring the 60s back to life.
This year, we’re doing things a little differently. Rather than offering formal Crowdfunder reward tiers, we’re keeping it simple and community-led, just like the spirit of the original Eel Pie days. Last year, everyone donated simply because they believed in the event, the music, and the importance of keeping Twickenham’s incredible 60s heritage alive. That support meant the world to us.
So instead of posting out rewards, badges and bundles, we’d much rather meet you properly on the day and give you a great big thank you in person!
If you donate to support Twickenham 60s Day, swing by the The Eel Pie Club merch stand during the event and show us you backed the Crowdfunder. We’ll have a very special free gift waiting for our supporters. ✌️
