Fund vital grassroots Green campaigns in Northamptonshire and challenge big-money politics with people-powered change.

Across Northamptonshire, something powerful is happening. 

People are waking up. People are saying we want hope, not division. And the Northamptonshire Green Party is growing faster than ever before. 

More people are getting involved, more voices are being heard, and more communities are backing a fairer, greener future.

Now we need your help to take things to the next level.

Our voting system is run by the rich. It's time for people-power.

For too long, politics has felt dominated by the same parties, backed by big money and distant decision-makers. Meanwhile, the issues that matter most locally, from the cost of living to the state of our area and public services, continue to affect everyday people across Northamptonshire.

That’s why the your local team is stepping up.

We are a group of local residents, volunteers and members who care deeply about our community and believe politics should work for people, not just those with the deepest pockets. We don’t have wealthy donors or corporate backing. Everything we do is powered by people giving their time, energy and support because they believe in something better.

Winning more Green voices won’t happen by accident. It takes resources to reach voters, share ideas and run a campaign that can stand alongside the bigger parties. Leaflets, events, digital outreach and getting out and speaking to people all require funding.

This crowdfunder is about giving our local team the tools to run a serious, visible campaign. One that listens, engages and represents us properly.

Donate, fundraise or have a clear out! 

Whether it is the price of a coffee, a one-off gift, or something more substantial, your support helps us grow stronger and reach more people. 

We do understand this ask comes at a time when cost of living is really hitting and we also appreciate you may not have anything to spare. What we want this to be is a fun challenge - an opportunity to pull together and do an individual or group fundraiser, a bake sale, or a sponsored run! 

Others have suggested maybe using this as an excuse to do some Spring cleaning and selling some items on Vinted or Ebay to chip in?

Many are also encouraging businesses they are connected with to donate if they believe in what we are building here in Northamptonshire, as we are committed to supporting and empowering local businesses as part of a greener, more resilient economy.

But however you get involved, this is our team challenge and we do it together. There is no pressure - only a shared determination that together we can do this.

BIG change is coming - and it will be Green or Reform

Seismic shifts are happening across the UK. Byelections everywhere are showing Green or Reform wins. The battle of hope or division is already happening. By reading this, you are already part of the story. But really huge change happens when everyone gets involved. 

Truly - hope is here, and it is all of us.

So please donate, fundraise or champion this however you can - with funding and people power we can change the future of Northamptonshire for the better. 

How much does campaigning cost?

Surprisingly, a lot more than you’d think. As much as we would love to minimise paper use and campaign via email and online, the reality is you just can’t reach everyone that way. Democracy is so incredibly important and it’s vital that everyone is fairly informed and doing that means taking flyers, letters and information to everyone’s letterbox. 

The realities of these costs are below:

£30 - 500x Vote Green posters

£61 - 10x Vote Green boards

£200 - 1x round of ward newsletters

£2000 - 1x ward campaign 

These are just some of the costs required for helping get new Green representatives, and this is why we need your help. We have to be more ambitious as a party, and that’s why hitting this next target is so key.  

I want to do more!

If you have donated and would like to do more, or if you aren't able to donate but still want to support, there are other ways to help too. Election campaigns rely on boots on the ground as much as funding. Sharing our message through newsletters and flyers is one of the most effective ways we connect with communities, and we always need volunteers to help deliver them.

You can also get involved with co-organising a fundraiser if you can spare a bit of time - like a music event, a beetle drive, bingo - or something else entirely if you have an idea to share!
