We desperately need to replace our air track - this is an essential piece of equipment for safely developing our gymnasts tumbling skills.
We are Gryphon West Gymnastics Club - specialising in acro and tumbling gymnastics in our pack-away settings in Sherborne and Yeovil, where we currently have over 100 gymnasts training with us. We have a small but highly skilled group of volunteer coaches who dedicate their time to the club, teaching community classes as well as competitive squads.
Take a look at what a typical training session at Gryphon West Gymnastics Club looks like here.

We are seeking funding to support our club to raise money for a new AirTrack. Running gymnastics classes in pack-away settings means our equipment is regularly transported, assembled and dismantled, causing increased wear and tear. In this case, our air track has become punctured beyond repair and now needs replacing as a matter of urgency, in order for our gymnasts to be able to train using suitable and safe equipment.

Children across our local community benefit from our gymnastics classes, which offer opportunities from beginner sessions through to competitive-level gymnastics. What makes our club special is that we pride ourselves on keeping our fees as low as possible, making gymnastics accessible to as many local families as possible.

We actively engage with other gymnastics clubs through competitions and events, building strong connections within the wider gymnastics community. We are also proud to be highly recognised for our annual performance at Sherborne Castle Country Fayre, where our gymnasts give back to the local community with a sense of awe, demonstrating their show-stopping acro routines and tumbling performances. We encourage as many of our gymnasts as possible to compete at local competitions, with a number of them moving on to compete at regional and even national level too.

There are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
