Empowering students and graduates across the UK to gain unique work experience in Madagascar, ensuring brighter futures for all.
About TSAP Travel:
TSAP Travel was an idea born in 2019 when our founder, Chloe Lingard, volunteered as an English teacher. She went to Madagascar, hoping to do some good and leave the local people in a better position than before.
Chloe loved her time as a volunteer but soon realised her impact was static and short-term. As a result, TSAP Travel was created, a volunteer abroad company that recruits skilled and knowledgeable students, graduates and professionals to volunteer in Madagascar.
Our Vision:

Together we will ensure brighter futures for all by delivering projects that are designed for and with the Malagasy people. Ensuring volunteers ignite change, deliver impact and leave a legacy that enables the people of Madagascar to flourish.
Meanwhile, we will be supporting volunteers to have a positive impact, immerse themselves in a new culture and improve their employment prospects.
Let's talk about money:
We are raising £8,500 to help us reduce volunteer abroad prices, making our projects more accessible to young people, here's how the funds will be spent:
By covering the costs for the above we can reduce our project fees for participants, making our prices even lower!

FAQs
Why Madagascar?
Madagascar is an incredible country with 95% of its flora and fauna endemic to the country. Unfortunately, Madagascar is the 4th poorest country in the world (World Population Review 2023) and has no social protection. Education is not free, there are no pension schemes; meanwhile the country is suffering the effects of global warming. Crops are dying and water sources are fading.
Our founder fell in love with Madagascar and its people after turning a 5 week trip into a 3-month immersive experience. Ever since she has stayed in contact with the communities and continues to dedicate her time to ensure the people of Madagascar have access to free education, enhanced opportunities and more.
How are volunteers benefiting?
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to travel and not only do we ensure our volunteer opportunities are affordable. We design bespoke projects for our volunteers and support them enhance their employability skills. A lot of the work we do wouldn't be possible without skilled and knowledgeable volunteers sharing their skills with the local community. Volunteers get to design their own projects in-line with the Malagasy communities needs and wants and get to design their own Madagascar Adventure story to tell future employers.
Why TSAP Travel?
TSAP Travel is a company designed by a student for students. Our Founder was a university students throughout the pandemic, which led to reduced work experience opportunities and the inability to travel or get varied work experience. Meanwhile, when Chloe was in Madagascar as a volunteer in 2019, she often found herself feeling left out because she couldn't afford to pay for the additional excursions. The TSAP Travel team put time into understanding your skills and knowledge and how you want your experience to reflect you and your career prospects. We have limited volunteers join us to ensure you get the best experience possible.
