Trust Fund for Lana Banana

Aim

The aim of this is crowdfunder to raise money following the loss of our friend Barry Casey for a memorial bench and for his daughters future

Following the tragic news of our friend Barry Casey suddenly passing away friends have suggested we raise money to hold in trust for Lana for when she is older and maybe would like driving lessons, to go to university, travel the world whatever it may be there is a little something to help her get started.

Anybody is welcome to join our fundraiser for a sponsored walk of 50 miles each over a 2 week period which will be a collective total as some are more or less fit than others. It will be something good for us all to focus on at this awful time.

The challenge will commence on 14th December 2020 at 00.01 and will finish 27th December 2020 at 23:59

You can decide when and where you want to complete your miles whether alone or as part of a group adhering to local covid-19 guidelines.

All activity must be recorded on an app such as strava and be posted in the participants group where we will keep a live tally.

Steps throughout the day cannot be counted they have to be separately recorded walks.
