True Ambassadors: Caring For Everyone

Aim

We are raising money to support the elderly and vulnerable members of our community.

Our organisation, based in London, assists vulnerable and elderly individuals who are lonely, isolated, marginalised and have no assistance from loved ones.  We have identified a gap in the service provision for these individuals in our community. They are struggling on a low income and are cut off from the community. Our clients who are disadvantaged and under privileged with limited family support can get a hot meal weekly, help to collect medicines and befriending services.

The project will provide a variety of cooked food to vulnerable and elderly people in our community, prepared by trained caterers and delivered to them in the comfort of their homes. The food will be made to order and, we will also do their weekly shopping according their individual needs. Where authorised, we will collect and deliver their medications. The funds will be used to pay for the overheads in delivering the service to the elderly and vulnerable people in the community.
