Support the Tron!
Due to concerns around the spread of Corona virus the Tron Theatre closed its doors to the public on Tuesday 17th March. This will naturally have a significant impact on our income, which is why we have launched a crowdfunder.
Funds will be used to bridge any gaps in staff wages not covered by the government funding package, help us fulfil our obligations to creatives and allow us to continue our activities online where possible. Your support will help to ensure that the Tron family survives the pandemic and is back to meet the needs of our community as soon as we are able!
A proportion of most reward packages represents a donation to the Tron Theatre, and you may be asked to make a GiftAid declaration. We can then claim GiftAid on donations where possible.
About the Tron
We are the west of Scotland’s only small scale producing theatre, creating up to five of our own productions every year. We are a vital resource for Scotland’s theatre makers, supporting artists through our Tron Creative programme which includes residencies, public sharings, bursaries, networking opportunities and much more. Tron Maker is a professional membership scheme for creatives while Tron Build offers workshops, open rehearsal rooms, hot-desking and peer support. Tron Participation is the creative education arm of the Tron. Our team creates opportunities for people of all ages to get involved in the arts, including storytelling workshops, youth theatre, the Tron Ambassdors work experience programme, Tron Young Company and community classes such as Write Tron and Tron Studio. We also provide outreach in schools and local areas of disadvantage.
