Tring Winery - The Relaunch!

Aim
Create an immersive wine experience for the people of Tring and surrounding areas. Tasting room, delivery van and updated winery space.
Tring Winery was set up to offer local people an alternative, and bring something unique to the town. Seasoned Sommelier Jamie and accredited Winemaker Alex opened the doors on the 8th February 2020. Just a few weeks later, of course, they had to be closed again.
Like all true entrepreneurs, they didn’t stand still. By quickly moving tastings online (very much ahead of the industry) and offering same day delivery (sometimes within the hour) they demonstrated the ability to pivot, like so many have had to, and have been grateful for the response of their customers. This endeavour was recognised by the award of 'Best Independent Retailer Promotion' by The Drinks Retailing magazine in January 2021, which we were truly humbled to win.
Opportunities to operate an onsite wine bar and events space have of course been fleeting and the decision was taken at the turn of the year to close the physical shop until advised otherwise. This period allowed for reflection and to gain feedback from local wine fans as to the products and services they would like to see on their doorstep.
So, after a turbulent year, Tring Winery is set for a re-launch, focussing on an immersive wine experience that you don't get anywhere else locally. And this is where you come in! We are endeavouring to raise funds to allow us to make a difference:
- Create a new wine tasting room to allow our valued customers more opportunities to visit, learn, taste and relax with friends
- Invest in an (electric) van to improve our professional local wine delivery service
- Further improve our small urban winery and create some fabulous winemaking experiences for our community
We would love investment to come from our friends, family and neighbours rather than a bank; and promise to spoil you with goodies, wine, tastings and parties in return!
