New stretch target
This would "future proof" us if we have another bad weather year and/or allow us to buy some new kit as old things (particularly tents) wear out
We need a bit of help to get TriFest off the ground. Last year got cancelled due to bad weather. We need some help to get going again.

Hi.
TriFest is a free festival (run by volunteers) held on Riverside Park, next to Bitterne Park Triangle (TriFest) in Southampton.
This year’s festival is on Saturday 27th July and it will be our 5th year.
We've got a bit of everything. We have local bands playing, craft stalls, local traders, community organisations, games, a dog show, a beer tent, food stalls, all the things you need for a fun afternoon in the park!
We are entirely self funding. We don’t receive any grants from anyone, each year we charge a small fee to traders on the day that keeps us going for the following year.
But we've hit a bit of a problem.
Last year we had to cancel the day before because of heavy rain and high winds. We’d paid out all our upfront costs but didn't get any income in return.
This means that, at the moment, we can't pay for the things we need to cover in order for the festival to go ahead.
Now lots of people are having a tough time at the moment so we want
to keep the event free, open to all. That's important to us. We’re proud of
the fact the festival is free. But it isn't free to run. We have to cover
things like licences, insurance, and replacement kit, things like that.
We’re asking for your help to kick things off and make this year’s
festival happen.
The first thing I’m going to say is, if things are tight for you at the moment
we don’t want your money. Bit of a weird thing to say in a crowdfunder
but we don’t want to put pressure on people who can’t afford it.
However, for anyone who can spare just a few quid, we need your help and support. Please donate to get us up and running again.
We would really appreciate it, and you can come along and have a great time in the park knowing you are one of the people who made it happen.

Thanks for your support, we really appreciate it.
