Aim
We aim to raise monies for two murals one of which will be sited on a wall at the back of the Cowsheds stand and the other in New Ferry.
It is just over 40 years since Charlie Lyndsey ran onto the pitch from the Cowsheds to smack the Bournemouth goalie across the backside for time wasting so we are aiming to raise monies for a mural on a building at the back of the Cowshed stand.
We are also going to site a mural of the clubs colour crest in the heart of New Ferry to bring some life back to the area following what has been a period of neglect since the explosion. We recognise that the clubs support base is strong here and we hope that this will be the first of many more murals sited around Birkenhead and the Wirral area celebrating the club.
