More trees for Mount Pleasant Road!

We have hit the initial target of £395 for our first tree and are aiming for 2x395 = £790 to plant a second tree. Lewisham Islamic Centre is very kindly donating £250 separately so the new target we are aiming for on the crowdfunder is 790-250 = £540.

We Mount Pleasant Road neighbours would like to raise funds to plant more trees on our street in winter 2026/27. We have done it three times before and hope to do it again!

Lewisham council has approved five locations for tree planting in winter 2026/27, in front of nos 5, 13, 40, 44 and on the boundary of nos 122/124 Mount Pleasant Road. 

The cost of a healthy two year old tree from the nursery, and insurance in the event of failure, is £395 (funded by us sponsors); the council takes care of planting.
