Treatment for Charlie

Aim

To raise money for Charlie to have the treatment he needs for his eye disease

Charlie is 8 years old and at the age of 7 was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa (R.P). This disease effects his eyes and there is no treatment available on the NHS which means we will have to pay for it privately. 

R.P results in blindness as it progresses and Charlie already struggles to see in the dark and adjust to light, we as a family are doing everything we can by learning braille, finding new ways to support him and Charlie will be learning how to use a cane starting this summer.

Most importantly,as a mum i feel i have a responsibility to find a solution for Charlie,who has already been so brave. He is a very active and happy boy but this disease as it progresses is effecting him emotionally and i want to do everything i can to find a way of giving Charlie his sight back  

Treatment is the only option we have left. So we are reaching out to anyone that may be able to help us
