About the project

A Travel Counsellor strives to turn your hopes and dreams into a perfect holiday with a unique personal approach to travel. By taking the time to get to know their customers they can assemble the perfect holiday.

Travel Counsellors was established over 20yrs ago and have over 1350 counsellors worldwide sharing their knowledge with each other. Their staff are indiviiduals who own their own franchise which allows them the flexibilty of homeworking and creating the perfect home/work balance possible.

I have a passion for travel and have helped numerous people plan and book their holidays and I have planned from start to finish my own abroad wedding this yr with 27 guests departing from different parts of the UK and Europe. This has now given me the desire to pursue my dream career in the Travel Industry.

To qualify as a Travel Counsellor with no previous travel industry background I need to enter their Academy programme that last up to one yr. The cost for this is £10,000 + VAT which covers my training for one yr, my equipment for selling i.e. Computer, Phone Line, Printer etc.

I know that I will have lot more to prove than some one who comes from a travel industry background but this does not hold me back in anyway, in fact it has spurred me on even further. I want to show not only myself but also Travel Counsellors as a company that they made the right decision when they accepted me. I WILL be successful..!!
