Transport costs for our dog Lola to get to Cyprus

Aim

We are a fam of 4 + 1 dog Lola. We are relocating + petitioning for help with Lola's flight costs so we can all stay together! Can you help?

We are the Asher's. A family of 4 + 1 dog. We have lived up in Yorkshire for 11 years and now for family and work purposes we are uprooting and heading over to Cyprus, this coming July 2021.. So far, planning our move has been smooth, comfortable and surprisingly minimal stress although our one HUGE concern that's keeping us awake at night is the future of our beloved girl, Lola, our 2.5 yr old lab that we really need to stay with us. I cannot stress how re-homing her is NOT an option.  

Our move has cost us pretty much all our savings and as everyone is aware, the future of anything right now seems uncertain. When we looked at costs of travel for Lola, understandably the figures would be high. We knew that but, at nearly £2000 all in and the fact that we had spent so much to action this plan already, we started to panic. What could we do in the interim to ensure her safety? When would flights for her open, as they haven't as yet? So many questions and uncertainties.  

We have spent the past few weeks in utter panic about the future where she is concerned and not just for the emotional and physical safety of Lola, but our 2 daughters also, as you can see from our gallery galore are BESOTTED with her. She is their absolute best friend and since she came in to our lives, she has helped tighten a bond between both of them. The sibling squabbles and sister tantrums seem to disappear when their middle lady is involved and from morning to bedtime they fuss over her like there's no tomorrow, and she quite happily laps it up. A tight little trio of blonde amazingness that we absolutely have to do all we can to keep together! 

So, for reasons out of our control, we have had to book to leave early July and as far as we know and until further notice, flights for Lola do not open until end of July at the very soonest. In the interim, she is going to stay at my sisters so that she can still be surrounded by equally crazy, cuddly kids until we can get her over to us. 

 Ordinarily, we would not ask for support on such matters but for peace of mind and security to know that we have done all we can to keep our family together through these bizarre times and long distance upheavals, we are petitioning for support for the costs of travel and her health certificates to ensure Lola can get to us safely and at the soonest possible convenience. For the sake of her and our girls, if anyone could help spare a couple of £££ to assist towards this project, we would be MORE than grateful! Re-homing her is NOT an option. She is our family and whatever the costs and however we can, we have to try every single option to make it possible! So here we are....

We are setting our target for £2000 and a deadline of July 31st 2021 so that we can book her to fly with Annies animal ark (www.anniesanimalark.com) who will come to collect her for travel out of Heathrow and in to Larnaca at some point in August where she will then come to her new home (air conditioned with her own paddling pool). Any extra funds raised by this deadline will go to an animal charity either UK or Cyprus based to help out others that also require contribution.
