About Us

Hi, I'm Daren, a dedicated gymnastics coach with over 40 years of experience. Alongside my team of passionate and skilled coaches, we are committed to creating a supportive and encouraging environment where every gymnast can thrive. Our gymnastics club is like a family, and we take pride in nurturing each and every athlete from the foundation level onwards. We believe in fostering a culture of fun, safety, creativity, and camaraderie.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a welcoming and state-of-the-art gymnastics training centre that prioritises the safety and development of our youngest gymnasts. We are dedicated to providing a foundation for lifelong skills and a love for the sport. By incorporating cutting-edge equipment and techniques, we aim to ensure that our gymnasts can learn and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Project

To achieve our vision, we are seeking to raise £7,400 to invest in the innovative Smart Spotting Block System. This system is designed to create a "channel bar" station above the ground, providing a safer and more stable surface for coaches to stand on. Here are some key features and benefits of the Smart Spotting Block System:

1. Foundation Skill Development: The system will allow us to teach our youngest gymnasts basic skills early on, such as handstands, forward rolls, and cartwheels, ensuring they can learn fundamental skills safely and effectively.

2. Beam Training: The 10cm white line on top of each block will help us train beam skills, including basic mounts and dismounts, with precision and confidence.

3. Versatile Training: We can use the blocks on their rigid side for conditioning, balance, or flexibility stations, and turn them on their edges to create dynamic obstacle courses for a fun and engaging cardio workout.

4. Lightweight and Durable: Made of firm yet lightweight foam covered in easy-to-clean vinyl, the blocks are easy to move from station to station and can be securely stacked in various configurations thanks to strategically placed Velcro.
