Helping people facing barriers to work gain skills, confidence, and support needed to secure stable jobs & build financially secure futures
Who are we, and what is our project about?
Road to Logistics is a national social enterprise that supports people facing barriers to employment into sustainable careers within the logistics sector. Since launching in 2020, we have supported more than 730 individuals into training and employment pathways, helping people move from unemployment into stable, well-paid jobs.
We specialise in working with individuals who face multiple challenges to employment, including long-term unemployment, financial hardship, low skills, and criminal justice involvement. Our programmes provide practical training, mentoring, and direct links to employers, ensuring participants are prepared for real jobs and long-term career success.
This project will provide targeted training and employment support to individuals who are struggling financially and need a clear pathway into work. Funding will help us deliver accredited training, employability support, and mentoring to participants, enabling them to secure stable employment and improve their long-term financial wellbeing.
How we’ll spend the money raised
Many people want to work but cannot afford the training or support needed to access better employment opportunities. Without intervention, individuals remain trapped in low-income situations or unemployment, which can lead to long-term financial hardship.
This funding will allow us to remove those barriers by providing practical training and employment support to people who need it most. By helping individuals secure stable jobs, we improve financial security for families, reduce reliance on benefits, and strengthen local communities.
Your support will help people move from uncertainty to stability, giving them the opportunity to build a better future for themselves and their families.
How you can help
There are three simple ways to get involved and support our project:
1. Make a donation
Every pledge gets us closer to our goal. Early support can help build momentum and inspire others to give too.
2. Spread the word
Share our project with friends, family and your wider network. The more people we reach, the more likely we are to succeed.
3. Volunteer with us
If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. Please get in touch through the ‘Contact’ section using the subject "I want to volunteer my time or expertise" on our project page.
