We’re crowdfunding to get our report into the hands of Wales’ 2026 decision-makers and spark debate on transforming public services.

Wales stands at a pivotal moment. In 2026, a new Senedd will be elected – bigger, fairer, and chosen through proportional representation. No single party is likely to govern alone. That means fresh ideas, clear evidence, and bold visions will matter more than ever.

Our new report – Transforming Public Services for a Modern Wales – sets out exactly that. It shows how digital, done right, can help Wales break free from short-term fixes, rebuild trust, and deliver public services that actually work for people.

But ideas alone won’t change Wales. We need decision-makers, campaigners, community leaders, and journalists holding this report in their hands – not just skimming a PDF.

That’s where you come in. 

We’re crowdfunding to fund the promotion of our report and campaign, aiming to reach candidates and decision-makers ahead of the 2026 Senedd election. 

Your support will help us:

• Get copies of the report onto the desks of party leaders, candidates, and policymakers
• Share practical solutions with councils, NHS leaders, and community groups
• Spark the urgent debate Wales needs about how to govern differently
• Get in front of the right people at the right time

This isn’t about glossy pages. It’s about influence. It’s about putting transformation at the centre of the political conversation.

How we’ll use the money

We’re keeping this simple. Every pound raised will go directly towards getting the report into the hands of people who can make change happen.

Your support will help us cover:

• Printing costs – producing high-quality copies of the report that will last and be easy to use in meetings, debates and events.
• Postage and distribution – sending the report to party leaders, Senedd candidates, council leaders, NHS executives, and community organisations across Wales.
• Publicity and events – making sure the report doesn’t just sit on a shelf but sparks conversations in the run-up to the 2026 Senedd elections.

We’re not looking to make a profit. This crowdfunder is about covering the basics so we can make sure the ideas in this report reach the people who need to read them most.

Our story

We’re a small group of people who care deeply about the future of Wales. We first came together at GovCamp Cymru in 2024, where we realised we shared the same frustration: too often, digital in Wales is talked about as technology, not as a way of transforming how public services actually work for people.

Rather than just swap notes and carry on, we decided to try and do something. Over the past year we’ve pooled our experience from across government, local councils, health, and the third sector to write this report: Transforming Public Services for a Modern Wales.

Between us, we’ve led service design, digital transformation, and policy work at every level – from local community services right up to UK Government. But what brought us together was a belief that Wales can do better, and that now, ahead of the 2026 Senedd elections, is the moment to make it happen.

We’re not a think tank, a consultancy, or a lobby group. We’re practitioners who’ve seen what works and what doesn’t – and we want to put that knowledge into the hands of the people who can use it to build a fairer, more effective Wales.
