 New stretch target

We will hire a Campaign boat to sail up the Thames and deliver our petition to Westminster.  Be a part of this and come along.

Trans Dad, Freddy is being forced to travel to Sweden to give birth to his second child so he can be accurately named and recognised as the Father. His first child has no birth certificate.

Freddy, like thousands of LGBTQ+ and surrogate parents, continues to have no legal recognition. Families are not being recognised accurately and equally on their children’s birth certificates. We are on a mission to change this.

Award winning, Chalk Productions (www.chalkproductions.co.uk) will document the struggles of families like Freddy's through a campaign film called “My Trans Family”, aimed at changing the law. We will show how legislation is not fit for purpose in Modern Britain and how Trans Families and their children are being discriminated against. We need funding to make this happen. This much needed film will then help to pitch the documentary to big streamers like Amazon and Netflix.

The documentary will follow Freddy’s story as he campaigns in the UK and the European Courts to get justice for Trans Families and change the law. We have also launched a petition asking the government to change the law so that LQBTQ+ and surrogate families are recognised accurately and equally on children’s birth certificates. UK law no longer reflects Modern British families and this needs to change.

This is about making lives better for the children of LGBTQ+ parents. Throughout their lives, these children are at risk of being discriminated against or harassed whenever they need to produce their birth certificate. This includes when these children apply for their first passport, go to school, take exams, attend university, get married and collect their pensions.

Please support us to make this important documentary and change the law.  Please donate and sign our petition to get this issue heard in parliament.
