Aim
To provide 105 tickets per TRFC home match to children and families who would not have the opportunity to attend a match otherwise.
Community Ticket Initiative:
Tranmere Rovers Nate’s Community tickets initiative began over seven years ago and aims to provide children and families with the opportunity to attend a match at Prenton Park, some of whom may never have had the chance to visit otherwise. The initiative has had incredible support from fan groups, sponsors, players, Tranmere fans and football fans across the country, raising thousands of pounds to fund match tickets. The generosity of the footballing community has helped to create memories that will last a lifetime, with more than 23,500 people experiencing a home game at Prenton Park. The Community Ticket initiative has also helped to strengthen the relationship with local organisations as the tickets paid for by fans are distributed to local community groups, organisations and schools.
Our Aim:
Our aim is to raise £20,000 which will be used to pay for 105 child and accompanying adult match tickets per home game. This will equate to 444 children's season tickets. For every ticket that is paid for by fans, the Club has kindly agreed to match the number of tickets up to 105 per home game, totalling 4830 over the season. This equates to 888 season tickets that will be distributed thanks to the generosity of Tranmere fans and football fans. As football fans, we think that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the excitement of walking into a stadium for the first time and watch their local team. We hope that the initiative will allow us to warmly welcome more and more children and families to Prenton Park.
