Training at Wilkes Academy 2016=2019

Hello, my name is Charlotte Fernandes and I am 16 years old.

This past academic year I have been training at Laine Theatre Arts on their 1 year foundation course. This has been an eye opening year for me and has been an exceptional challenge, pushing me in all areas of dance, singing and acting in order to allow me to progress in my professional training. This course has enabled me to receive places at 6 of the top dance and musical theatre schools in the Uk on their 3 year level 6 diploma course. 

I have been fortunate enough to receive a percentage of a scholarship to one of my top choice schools Wilkes Academy for 2016-2019. 

As I am only 16 I am unable to access any student loans or finance support for education or living costs to cover the up and coming years and therefore this has to be funded entirely by myself and my family. alongside my scholarship my family and I are working extremely hard to raise our funds for this opportunity I have been given. This is a massive opportunity for me to carry on with my training to enter a career I have always dreamed of in the arts. 

Any donations would be appreciated so very much to help fees, housing and living costs for the next few years. The fantastic training given does not come without high cost, no matter how big or small every litte donation really does go a long way.
