Every penny raised will go to Edinburgh Northern and Leith CLP help get Tracy Gilbert elected in this years General Election.
I have lived in Edinburgh all of my adult life and I'm proud to call Leith home.
As a Trade Union official I spend every day working to win for people across Edinburgh and Scotland. I am standing to represent and deliver for North and Leith because we deserve better.
To help fund my campaign I am relying on your generosity to help us win. Whether you can afford to chip in, be it £5 or £50, your donation will help secure a Labour gain in Edinburgh North and Leith. If you would like help in other ways with our campaign, please contact me by emailing [email protected]
Many thanks in advance,
Tracy
Rules
Edinburgh Northern and Leith CLP may contact you using the information you supply in order to discharge their legal responsibilities to ensure donations are from permissible sources. Donations to meet the costs of candidate election expenses are regulated by the Representation of the People Act 1983 and the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000. By making a donation to this campaign I understand and accept the following:
- I am donating to the Edinburgh Northern and Leith Constituency Labour Party.
- I must use my own funds to make a donation to the Labour Party.
- If I donate more than £500, checks will be made to ensure my name is listed on the UK electoral register (excluding the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man). Any single donations of £500 or under are not regulated donations under electoral law, and therefore the donor would not be required to be on the UK Electoral Register.
- If I donate more than £2,230 to a Constituency Labour Party or more than £11,180 to the national Labour Party in a calendar year, my name and the amount of the donation will be published on the Electoral Commission's website, although my home address will not be made public.
- If I am making a donation of more than £50 during the short campaign (the period after the election has been called), checks will be made to ensure my name is included on the UK electoral register (excluding the Isle of Man and Channel Islands which are not permissible sources). My name and the amount I have donated will be included in the candidate return submitted after the election.
- Donations are not tax-deductible.
- This information will be available for public inspection on request, although my home address will not be made public.
This donation facility is provided for individuals to make donations to the Edinburgh Northern and Leith CLP. UK companies, limited liability partnerships, trade unions and unincorporated associations may also make donations. Please contact the CLP at [email protected] for more information.
*Permissibility checks will be carried out on individual donors in compliance with the rules laid out by the Electoral Commission on donations in election campaigns. You will be contacted by the Edinburgh Northern and Leith CLP Secretary to obtain this information. Donor details may be published.*
