🏳️⚧️🫖 Support Trans Creatives in the North East! 🫖🏳️⚧️
We’re re-launching our T-Pot Fund Community Donation page, as now more than ever, we need your support to show solidarity with the Trans community.
We want to continue to offer creative opportunities which spark joy and celebrate Trans visibility
As part of this relaunch, we have added the brand new “Protect Northern Dolls” enamel pin as a donation reward - exclusive to our Community Donation page!
T Pot is a community-funded bursary programme supporting Trans, Non-binary and Gender Non-conforming creatives across the North East. Thanks to your support, we were previously able to offer small pots of £500 for 5 artists to lead a creative project that matters to them.
Head over to our social media to find out more about the artists and projects that have previously benefited from this fund.
At a time where Trans makers are struggling for commissions, especially around the themes of joy and liberation, Curious Arts are keen to provide £500 per successful artist to create work that is important to them. Funded by this crowdfunder and the sale of Protect The (Geordie/Teesside) Dolls t-shirts, the T Pot is a community empowered initiative to provide a platform for artists to spread solidarity and strengthen community in a refreshing way, in the way a sweet cup of tea can! (Oat milk optional, but Trans essential).
Every contribution, no matter the size, pours straight into Trans creativity and solidarity, empowering local artists to make, share and celebrate work on their own terms in their community.
