The Tower Theatre - 'The Big Get-In!'

Whole bunch'a news to share on our campaign!

Our second open evening at the new building was a rousing success with a full-house of visitors who had the chance to see the site's refurbishment 'in progress', have a nose about the various rehearsal rooms, and marvel at the stunning octagonal space where our productions will be performed this autumn and onward.

We were also pleasantly surprised to get a call from the lovely Sami at Crowdfunder itself with an offer to add their advice and experience to help us maximise the benefit we can get from this fundraising effort.  In short, with her suggestions, along with the excitement from the latest group of visitors to the site and requests from other members of the Tower community for a bit more time to get their donations in, the Board has agreed the following changes to the campaign:

• Extend the campaign to 18:00 on 24 July, 2018;
• Incorporate the 'offline' donations by cheque and bank transfer into the 'online' total;
• Split our target budget for the campaign into two £75,000 phases; and
• Adjust the reward tiers based upon Crowdfunder's deep experience in fundraising.

Over this coming week, we'll be working with Sami and the Tower's Marketing group to get all of this sorted, and put out a special edition of Noises Off! next week with lots of updates to the campaign, the latest photos, new and exciting rewards, and the latest consolidated progress to our new target!
