We have an opportunity to make our debut album with Charlie Wilson and we need to raise half of the recording cost.

If we raise the whole of the studio time cost we will need to make a video, pay a press agent to handle a press release and we'll need a digital advertising budget for the release a few weeks after recording so we will put any extra money towards the other costs involved with an unsigned release. We're looking to raise half the recording cost and recording is only about 20% of releasing a record.

Now. That feeling you get when you walk into a venue and there’s already a band on stage rolling. I don’t know what the name for that feeling is but yeah, that. Or how it feels when you find that new album that you just can not get enough of and it's with you all day every day. That too. That is why you and we love music. And why our scene needs more awesome metal albums!
We’re Torchbearer, we’re a metal band from London / South Wales and we need to raise half the money to recording our debut full-length album.
We will be digging deep in to our souls to find the best lyrics and riffs we can as well as even deeper into our own pockets to cover the remaining half of the studio time. We have an offer to make an album with Charlie Wilson who has made made albums for the likes of TRC, Counting Days etc. Charlie is really doing everything he can for us but with no label money and having not played a show in 18 months we need just a little bit of financial support.
And so we have created backers only t-shirts, lyrics prints and we'll write and record 3x bonus tracks including a cover for an early-bird, deluxe version of the album. Also, if you ever wanted to learn an instrument or learn to box, now is the time to do it!

About 18 months ago we released Against The Tide and we booked 26 shows over 8 months for the ATT tour. Most of the shows were busy with our guys singing our courses back to us. It was awesome. So we’ve done the warm up and leant a lot about the industry and now we’re confident and comfortable releasing a professional full-length album. We’ve paid our dues, we’ve got what it takes, we haven’t had the opportunity to do it as of yet. It’s time.
Since then we’ve been developing 10 songs for about 18 months now, if we do say so ourselves, they have strong hooks, deep and relatable lyrics and some taaasty riffs! We take what we do seriously and Charlie wouldn’t have jumped on board if that wasn’t the case. You guys are going to get hooked on this stuff and we are going to have so much fun at the shows. We’re doing this so you get the best LP possible and because we want you to be involved. You can hear one of our pre-production demos on the video above.

When will I get my backers only tee?
Once we've sold enough to get them printed we will do so, they'll be sent out as soon as we do. You'll be kept up to date every step of the way. It's unlikely that we won't sell enough to get them done but if that happens you'll be offered the chance to leave your payment with us as a donation, pick up an alternative reward or receive a full refund. When will I get my deluxe version of the album?
Only backers will receive the album including the 3 extra bonus tracks via a private Band Camp link 2 weeks before the album drops on Spotify. So you preorder and pay now then you'll get the album including the exclusive extra tracks 2 weeks before anyone else in September when we'll be releasing the album. How do the guitar / bass / drums / boxing lessons work?
Book and pay on here and Ollie, Mo or Pete will email you within 48 hours to set a time for your free introductory call. On the call we'll define your goals and the strategy and we'll get the lesson(s) in the diary.
