Do you have Too Many T-Shirts?

Heya,

Thank you so much to those who’ve backed us in the last couple of days!

We’ve been discussing some of the global benefits of upcycling, and also Too Many T-Shirts’ partnership with global charity 1% For The Planet. We’ll be giving away 1% of all our sales, including the money raised on this crowdfunder to environmental causes.

It’s important for us to also act locally. Supporting the local Bristol economy makes sense, our expansion will enable us the space and time to consider other collaborations. We’ve been talking to The Matthew Tree Project, a Bristol-based charity. 

The Matthew Tree Project works with families and individuals in the Bristol area who’ve fallen into crisis. They build a sense of community, empowering and supporting their clients to rebuild lives creating a better, healthier, happier future.

We’ve devoted a reward to supporting The Matthew Tree Project. Backing this reward will allow us to run a days workshop with clients of The Matthew Tree Project. This will be a day of textiles training and producing a personalised blanket of their own. We hope to exchange some of our skills, and also give them something physical to take away at the end of the day. This reward also includes a donation to The Matthew Tree Project.
