Aim

Witches in name, women in truth—17th-century lives destroyed by false accusation, finally remembered and honoured. Screening at the BFI...

They were ordinary women. Mother and daughter… yet they were hunted, silenced and trialed as witches.

Witness as we bring the 17th-century witch trials to life, revealing the brutal reality of false accusations, societal fear, and the crushing weight of injustice. These women were not villains — they were brave souls punished simply for existing in a world ruled by suspicion and cruelty. Through mesmerising visuals of the British countryside, haunting performances, and a story that blends history with heart, we aim to honour their courage and restore their voices, long denied by time.
