Help our 5 young martial artists represent England at the TKD World Champs in Poland. Raising vital funds for travel, team kits & entry fees

Who are we?

Endeavour Tae Kwon Do is far more than just a martial arts school—we are a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to making fitness, discipline, and self-defence accessible to everyone in our community. Alongside our main Tae Kwon Do classes, we pride ourselves on running impactful local initiatives. These include specialised ladies' self-defence courses, after-school programs designed specifically for children on free school meals, and hosting dedicated neurodiverse "Quiet" groups to ensure every individual has a safe, supportive space to thrive. We believe in building confidence and character on and off the mats.

Why are we crowdfunding?

An extraordinary opportunity has arisen for five of our incredibly dedicated young students, aged 8 to 15. They have been selected to join forces with talented peers from across the nation to form an official English entry at a prestigious Tae Kwon Do World Championships in Poland.

Taking a youth squad to an international tournament involves significant costs. As a community-focused CIC, our core mission is to ensure that a child's financial background never prevents them from achieving their dreams. We are crowdfunding to eliminate the financial barriers for these families, ensuring our young martial artists can step onto the world stage fully prepared, confident, and standing proud under the England flag.

Furthermore, we have enabled Crowdfunder’s regular donation feature. Any long-term or ongoing support will directly fund our future community programs and ensure we can subsidise entry fees and travel for future competitions, keeping these life-changing opportunities open to all local youth.

How we’ll spend the money raised

We believe in absolute transparency. Every single penny raised from this campaign will be split strictly between immediate tournament essentials for the kids and long-term community athletic support. Here is exactly how our initial £2,000 target breaks down:

• Official Team Doboks (£200 total): Providing matching professional tournament uniforms so our 5 local competitors are ready to represent their country with pride. (£40 each)

• Competition Entry Fees (£400 total): Covering all mandatory registration and international tournament entry costs for our squad. (£80 each)

• Flight Subsidy Pool (£700 total): Taking the sting out of the travel costs. This pool will be used to heavily discount flights for the families, ensuring financial background doesn't hold any of these talented kids back from the tournament.

What happens if we smash our target? If we exceed our initial goal, every extra penny will go directly into expanding the travel pool to cover accommodation and transport for the families while in Poland. Any ongoing monthly donations secured via our regular giving feature will be held securely by our CIC to fund future tournament entry fees and a travel pool for next season, keeping these life-changing opportunities open to all local youth.
