We're still collecting donations
On the 8th July 2023 we'd raised £1,207 with 26 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Our project aim is to fundraise enough money in order to purchase new equipment to benefit the training and skill level of those at TK.

On the 8th July 2023 we'd raised £1,207 with 26 supporters in 56 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
We will use extra money to look towards future investments within the club and offering services to wider ranges of audiences.
Any little helps, especially when equipment costs so much!! Our little gymnasts will have a big future hopefully with the help we receive!
We are a small club in Bradford who are aiming to help improve young gymnasts dreams of doing well within the sport! Our team is full of hopeful gymnasts, dedicated coaches and eager leaders. TK Gymfit aim to not only help those that come through the door grow as gymnasts, but also as people in every day life too!
Since COVID 19 the club really took a hit as most businesses did, however we came back with better ideas on how to improve what we offer as a club.
Before, we weren't able to offer further training to our gymnasts and once they have reached a certain level we have had to pass them on to other clubs to help further their gymnastics. However, we hope to be able to offer higher quality training for gymnasts with the help of our recent fundraiser!
At TK we offer such a wide range of classes. These range from pre school with our tiny tots, up to adults classes for those that used to be gymnasts or just want to embark on something new in their adventure. We also have boys classes, recreational classes, general gym, floor & vault, homeschool, after school as well as women’s artistic.
Our Women’s Artistic gymnasts have decided they want to take their training further and want to aim to compete at a national level. For this we are in need of better equipment to benefit the quality of training and skill level for those gymnasts. This has never been a level completed at TK Gymfit so these gymnasts will be the first that can hopefully start a pathway for new generations to come.
Our club is determined to keep gymnasts in the sport for as long as possible; whether that is training or later on following through with the leadership programme progressing into a part/full-time job💖
We have lots of gymnasts both competitive and not who get a little scared walking on the high beams - we would love to purchase a floor beam to help improve confidence of these gymnasts, however an average floor beam costs around £1000 - which is not the amount of money we can just spare!
Equipment is extremely expensive and something that such a small community club cannot justify spending as it is so far out of our budget! That’s why we need your help💖
The money raised will go towards brand new equipment within the gym. This will include a new bar to help develop skills as well as a floor beam and air track that the gymnasts can feel confident trying and attempting new skills without the fear of injuring themselves should it not go completely to plan.
It will also be used on equipment that benefits our younger gymnasts in their journeys, starting from pre school equipment!
As TK Gymfit is a small community club it has a huge impact on those within the community who all also attend the club. It will also impact the schools surrounding TK as they use the facilities for extra curricular sessions and therefore will have better experiences. As well as this, our pre school classes will benefit by having more equipment for them to learn their basic skills such as walking, balancing, grip strength etc. Our hope is that with new equipment, every gymnasts/child/adult who uses the facility will have an improved experience from this.
Here at TK we appreciate every ounce of support given so far to our small club. This is our first fundraiser, however we hope in the future to achieve many more!
We hope that by reaching our target, our application for funding will be approved. Our application with Sport England is in the works and we are extremely hopeful that we will receive the green light go ahead. If we can hit our target, Sport England will try to match with up to 50%!!🤞🏻
To help us reach our target of £750 in order to start buying new equipment there are four simple ways to help us reach our target, and make this project a reality.
1. Make a pledge. Don’t delay if you’re going to support us because momentum is key to our success!
2. Spread the word. Share our project on your social media pages and tell the world to get behind us! The more people we reach, the more support we will get.
3. Offer rewards. Get involved if you are a local business by donating things we can offer to our supporters. We will give you a shout out!
4. Fundraise for us. If you want to run your own fundraiser – maybe a sponsored activity or similar – use the 'contact project' button at the top of our page to let us know. Setting up your own page only takes a few minutes and you won’t need any bank details. Just a fun idea!
