Timperley CC Net Renovation

Aim

Timperley CC are raising funds to cover costs for our new net wickets - allowing for high quality training for our seniors and juniors.

• Our cricket nets were built nearly 15 years ago and have been used extensively throughout that period by our senior and junior teams. Over the past few years, we have increased our numbers significantly, now running 7 senior teams and having over 120 juniors as well as providing All Stars and Dynamos courses for younger children new to the game and finally in 2021 establishing a girls section and becoming a champion club providing opportunities for children with disabilities to take part in cricket sessions.

The nets are the main focal point for batting and bowling training but the surfaces are now worn and uneven after years of heavy use. We want to provide the best facilities possible for all our teams so have had our 3 net wicket surfaces re-laid with modern turf and even out the base underneath the surface to provide a high quality facility for training.

The money we raise will go directly to the cost of these 3 lanes and to strengthen the netting in between the lanes, in combination with funds from the sports club and section reserves.
