Aim

Important surveys required for the Tillingham Bridge Project

The Tillingham Bridge Project represents an important step toward improving walking, wheeling and cycling opportunities for Rye. By connecting residential areas west of the River Tillingham with key educational, leisure and community facilities to the east (including Rye College, Rye Leisure Centre, and Rye Community Primary School), the proposed bridge will significantly enhance accessibility and wellbeing for our community.

          Thanks to the support of a local benefactor, we have already raised £1,800 towards necessary ecology studies. Now, we need your help – a further £7,500 is required for further ecology studies, engineering drawings, and planning fees before we can progress towards planning permission.
