Three of a Kind begun with two very tired and poor University students sharing a love for Musicals and wanting to create something special.
Three of a Kind (TOAK) was originally created in 2018 by Gregor Satti and Rebekah Holly Neilson. Sat in a University library at midnight we spoke about what we wanted to achieve with TOAK. We said, to help people realise “it’s okay, not to be okay” and to take the show to the Edinburgh Fringe. We are proud to have achieved this in 2024 with Rebekah taking on the role of Director and Gregor as Musical Director.
Every step of TOAK has been entirely self funded including a London workshop, an EP that is available on Spotify and this Fringe production.
We made the decision when first discussing the Fringe production to ensure everyone involved is paid for their time. This includes:
- 3 members of the production team
- 13 cast members
- 9 band members
The fees for our amazing and talented team along with rehearsal and venue costs have used most of our self funds.
Any donations received, would allow us to invest more into our set/costumes and marketing!
Synopsis
Three of a Kind follows Sam as she juggles her responsibilities as a daughter in modern-day America. We follow Sam through her journey of acceptance, growth and love.
An original score, with a thought provoking story the world premiere of Three of a Kind, is not to be missed!
