I'm raising money for the 39th Fife Scouts who help young people grow skills and confidence so please donate and help reach my target
This April, I’ll be running the London Marathon — something I last did back in 1994. This time, I’m doing it to raise funds for 39th Fife Scouts, the Scout group that both my children proudly attend.
39th Fife Scouts helps young people build confidence, resilience, and practical life skills through adventure. From a vibrant weekly programme to camps at local and national level, the group gives young people real opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge themselves in a supportive environment led by dedicated volunteers.
In 2027, the leaders are planning an extraordinary experience: taking young people aged 10½ to 18 to the International Scout Centre at Kandersteg in the Swiss Alps. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity — not only to enjoy activities in a stunning alpine setting, but to meet Scouts from all over the world and take part in a truly international Scouting experience.
Switzerland is an expensive country to visit, and significant fundraising is needed to help make this trip accessible to as many young people as possible. By supporting my London Marathon run, you’ll be helping to open doors to adventure, friendship, and life-changing experiences for these young people.
Thank you so much for any support you’re able to give — every donation really does make a difference.
