Running the London Marathon

Aim

I am raising money to make land safe, save lives and help families rebuild their lives. Please donate and help me reach my target

Minefields represent one of the worst types of contaminated land: you can't put livestock on it, grow crops, collect firewood or simply walk across it. 

I am raising money for the Halo Trust so they can continue their efforts to remove the curse of indiscriminate anti-personnel mines and explosives left over from conflict all around the world. 

Halo Trust publish their work here: https://www.halotrust.org/what-we-do/ and their investment in recovering countries creates employment, saves lives, prevents injury and transforms life choices every day and that is worth supporting. 

As for me this is a real challenge at 55 years young. I started training in Autumn 2019 for the London Marathon in April 2020 and like Forest I'm still running. Roll on the 3rd October 2021 when I can finally get this done.
