Aim
Deep beneath The Market House lies a space filled with potential - for music, for celebrations, for connection and we need your help.
The hard truth: the hospitality industry is especially challenging at the moment. A perfect storm of less disposable income, higher energy costs and a dramatic increase in food cost is putting a huge pressure on hospitality nationally and we are no exception.
The good news is that since we opened our doors, we’ve built The Market House into a space people love - friendly, safe, full of great music and good times and the next step is to open The Vault. This lifeline will help us to create a fully sustainable business that can cater for both our daytime and nighttime audiences and continue to be the community hub we have grown into for Tonbridge.
The Vault is almost ready and we are raising £30,000 to complete the fit-out, soundproofing, lighting and all the operational bits that’ll turn this underground gem into an incredible venue for the whole community and to provide the space we believe our town needs.
The Vault will be a flexible space, for use during the day for wellness, private hire, workshops and meetings. And at night, it will burst into life for events and celebrations, showcasing local artists and performers, comedy and karaoke - the list is endless.
We are committed to supporting our community in return and will therefore be offering 20% of the daytime use for free to local, not for profit groups to use.
We believe Tonbridge deserves this next step for our nightlife and we can't wait to share this incredible new space with you.
