*I've chosen a random target because I’m not 100% sure how much long the project will take to complete. For example, a one minute clip can take between 4-7 hours to film and edit, so the full feature could potentially take over 600 hours! After posting a few TikToks featuring completely unhinged recreations of scenes inspired by Twilight, made entirely in The Sims 4, I was flooded with comments asking me to remake the ENTIRE two-hour film. Many people suggested starting a crowdfunder to help make it happen and ... here we are!
About the project
This is an unofficial, fan-made project that will be released for free on YouTube. Donations are completely optional, but if you'd like to support the project, your contribution will help fund:
- Time away from my day job so I can dedicate more hours to creating the film.
- Supporting other independent creators through Patreon subscriptions for custom animations, poses, and mods.
- Purchase additional expansion packs necessary for the story (e.g. if the required mod or custom cc doesn't exist)
- Editing software subscriptions and any additional equipment needed (such as a cooling pad for my gaming laptop, so it doesn't decide to overheat spontaneously combust halfway through filming).
- Access to a Discord server (https://discord.gg/t9kpRDpA5) where you'll receive production updates, behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, share suggestions, vote on creative decisions, and chat about the project as it develops

Timeline
I can't promise an exact release date, but my goal is to spend as much of my free time as possible over the coming months bringing this project to ✨life✨.
For some perspective, a single one-minute TikTok recreation can take anywhere from 4–7 hours to film and edit. A feature length adaptation is a much chunkier challenge, so depending on the overall production time, I may release the film in two parts.
July is particularly busy for me with work clients, but I'll have significantly more time to dedicate to production from August onwards. I'll keep everyone updated throughout the process via Discord and regular project updates.

A quick note about the funding goal
I've chosen a fairly random target because I honestly don't know exactly how much the project will end up costing. As I'm not currently monetised on YouTube, projects like this are funded entirely out of my own pocket and my spare time. If you'd like to help support the hundreds of hours that will go into creating the film, I'd be incredibly grateful. If the goal is exceeded, any additional funds will simply allow me to dedicate more time and improve the overall quality of the project.
