The US Launch of The Session Man: Nicky Hopkins

THE SESSION MAN film was self-funded. The crowdfunding is to cover the marketing, promotion, and distribution of the film.

THE SESSION MAN: NICKY HOPKINS film launch screens at The Angelika Film Center, NYC on Wednesday 25th September 2024. This crowdfunding will help offset the costs of the launch along with ongoing marketing, promotion and distribution of the film. 

“In the golden age of Rock and Roll, bands consisted of guitar and drums, until they realised that the piano added harmonic richness and melodic flair. Then along came the legendary pianist, Nicky Hopkins.”

NICKY contributed on over 250 albums.

For each contribution of $100 or more, Chuck Leavell, keyboard player and musical director for the Rolling Stones, will provide an annual membership (valued at $79.95) to www.irocku.com, Chuck's online rock and blues piano lessons website, along with access to his series, "Blues Technique with Chuck Leavell" (valued at $90).
