I'm raising funds to invest in equipment that will increase production, improve efficiency & help bring more high-protein treats to you all!

Hi, I'm Cassidy, the founder of The Protein Bakehouse.

I started this business with a simple goal: to create genuinely delicious, handmade high-protein treats that people actually look forward to eating.  Every bar and protein ball is made in our small commercial kitchen using quality ingredients, with a huge amount of care and attention going into every batch.

I've grown this business organically, one step at a time.  What began as a passion has become a full-time business, and today I'm incredibly proud to employ staff, supply customers across the UK, and continue building something I'm truly proud of.  We are now 5 years in, and there is no sign of slowing down!

As a mum, I know the value of hard work and perseverance.  Balancing business ownership with raising my son hasn't always been easy, but it's made me even more determined to build a sustainable business that supports our future while creating products people genuinely love.

This crowdfunding campaign isn't about rescuing a struggling business - it's about helping a growing one take its next big step.  

With your support, I'll be able to invest in equipment that will increase production, improve efficiency, and allow The Protein Bakehouse to continue growing while keeping the same handmade quality that has brought us this far.

These machines will allow us to:

• Make significantly more bars each week
• Restock protein truffles far more often
• Reduce sell-outs
• Introduce new flavours faster
• Keep every product handmade while removing the slowest manual jobs

The first one is a chocolate enrobing machine, which will enable us to coat the protein bars and the protein truffles in chocolate, which I am currently doing by hand (with a fork!)  It will take us from coating a batch of bars in half an hour, to literally a couple minutes!  

The other is a protein ball rolling machine.  Again, I am currently rolling everything by hand.  I can do about 100 balls per hour on a good day.  This machine can roll 100 protein balls in minutes.  I will be able to make our protein truffles as available as the bars (they are currently only restocked every 2 months, due to how long they take to make)

All ingredients, processes & making of the products will stay exactly the same.   These machines will just remove the bottleneck tasks that are preventing us from getting more products out the door.

Having boot-strapped this business by myself for the last 5 years, I know that investments like this do not come cheap!

In 2023 I purchased a protein bar press machine from America, funded solely by myself.  It was the biggest investment I've ever made, but also the absolute best!  I know how much investments like this can propel a business forward.

I've already invested thousands of pounds into growing The Protein Bakehouse over the last five years, and I'm continuing to invest alongside this campaign. This crowdfunding will help bridge the final gap needed to bring these machines into production.

I want to be able to keep providing the most amazing products to everyone.  I want to be able to provide more exciting flavours AND bring out new products.  I want to reduce our turnaround time and ensure everyone gets what they want at every restock.

These machines will definitely help us get there!
