Hi, I'm looking to expand my small workshop by the addition of a lathe. I'd then be able to make round legs for tables and centre support

I started my small business about 6 months ago after becoming somewhat frustrated with the high price of solid furniture and the failings of flat pack. Having already made my own dining room table and various other projects i thought "why not!"

It seemed that pallet wood was in abundance and if prepared correctly it could become a useful and very versatile medium to work with. Since starting out i have been commissioned to make things from dining tables & desks to shelving units and picture frames.

My aim is currently to maximise my time in the workshop by having a lathe. Once i have several layers of quality pallet wood glued a pinned together i can turn it on the lathe to make lovely main supports for tables. Once put together with my circular table tops would make beautifully crafted dining and side tables.
