Help Us Continue Our Crucial Work for the Disabled Community
While we can't eliminate inequality, through technological inclusion, we can empower individuals with disabilities to take control of their own lives, trusting them to shape their own futures. For many, connectivity is more than just a tool—it's a gateway to freedom, opportunity, and human dignity.
Running a grassroots organization like The Outsiders Trust has never been more challenging. After 43 years of pioneering work in the field of sex and disability, we are now at a critical juncture. Despite our dedicated volunteer team and extensive network, we urgently need your support to continue and expand our services for disabled individuals.
Our Situation and What We Need:
Since the pandemic, the needs of our community have grown while our resources have become increasingly strained. Digital connectivity and real-world impact are more vital than ever, but sustaining our operations and expanding our reach is challenging without adequate funding. We have a team of passionate volunteers and trustees, but to fully prioritize and follow up on the needs and wishes of our community, we require dedicated staff and better resources.
Why Your Support is Crucial:
Our recent survey highlighted the evolving needs of our members, revealing where society fails to recognize their needs for inclusivity in dating, relationships, and sexual expression. To address these needs effectively, we must enhance our digital presence, attract new generations, and strengthen our services both online and in real life. This funding will enable us to secure the operational sustainability of our projects, fostering inclusivity and empowerment for disabled individuals across England.
