The Lost Words for every Scottish Primary school

We are on the up....there is no doubt that the potential for this book to spread a little magic to all the children of Scotland is being recognised by many more people every day.  As I write this, over 300 of you have been kind enough to donate to the project and I am so grateful for your support and for all the sharing you have been doing on Twitter in particular.  

I still need to find over £5000 in the next 9 days, but with a bid of £1000 on Jackie's blog for her amazing otter image, I guess we can call it £4000 and counting (down!).

If there has been one key motivator for me in recent days, it has been the response of children and teachers to this book.  My aim is very simple - to give every school a copy of the book - but that is just a small step in what I hope will be a wave of activities and impacts far beyond just adding a book to the school shelf.  If we can reach the £18000 target, then every one of you will have helped to spread a bit of this magic in the lives of children across Scotland - and who knows what that might mean in years to come when they grow up to be the policy makers, business leaders, artists and writers!
