The Lost Words for every Scottish Primary school

The deadline for my project to reach  £30,000 was 2pm today and thanks to each of  your generous donations I raised a lot of money (and shared a lot of love for this wonderful book) but didn't quite get there.  In normal circumstances that would be the end of the story.....but not this one!

I am so excited to say that thanks to a spectacular discount from the publisher Penguin, I have been able to reduce the target to £18,000 to provide a copy of The Lost Words to every primary school in Scotland.  Thanks  also to the team at Crowdfunder for recognising the positivity towards the project and agreeing to allow me to extend the deadline for an extra two weeks to give it one final push to make it happen.

I will be in touch over the coming days with information on ways you can help, but I wanted to let you know the good news and explain why the details on the website have suddenly changed.
