About ‘The Little Calm Company’

I served in the Royal Navy from 17 before joining Hampshire Constabulary where I served as a PCSO for 11 years. 

It was in my time in the police where I saw colleagues under huge amounts of stress, but little in the way of well-being.

I had a keen interest in massage and became the unofficial office therapist!

My massages made such an impact I decided to expand my offering and create a business offering workplace and event massage.

In 2018, The Little Calm Company was born.

Prior to the pandemic we had visited in excess of 90 companies and organisations. Clients included, NHS, BBC, Adidas, Wave FM and Waitrose. We became ‘award winning’ and we pride ourselves on 100% positive reviews. 

We were hit hard by the pandemic. All of our clients cancelled their bookings overnight. This hasn’t stopped me- I’m determined to make massage accessible to as many people as possible and make my business profitable again.

The Idea 

The Vision 

My vision is for guests to be able to book our services when booking a room or a wedding with a particular hotel. A percentage of which would go back to the hotel.

We would provide all the equipment, qualified therapists, insurance and risk assessments to provide the massages.

The benefits to the hotel would be:

- Increased sales due to an enhanced experience for their guests.

- Increased revenue from the sale of the massages.

I currently employ two massage therapists and have a handful of excellent therapists who I can call upon for various projects and events.

The money from this crowdfunding project would go towards the following:

-Massage tables (we would store this at the hotel to ensure it stays in good condition)

-Towels and massage table covers 

-Defusers and oils to create the spa atmosphere

-Uniform for the therapists 

-Marketing materials to send to the hotels but also the guests

-An update on my website to allow for guests to book directly
